A few weeks after the arrival of the new batch of exchange students from Ethiopia, on Saturday 9th September 2023, NURTURE project gathered everyone at Oslo and planned some activities for the whole evening. Dr Shegaw Anagaw Mengiste, as the project coordinator, welcomed the students when they arrived and we all started our joyful evening from Karl Johan street in Oslo. We were walking through famous places at Oslo and Dr Shegaw was explaining about the city for the students the whole time. We visited a few “Must See” places in Oslo and dined together at an Ehtiopian restaurant that makes great Ethiopian food. We talked about everything including students’ experiences and challenges in Norway so far and shared interesting stories. NURTURE project funded the gathering.
