Enabling Knowledge Transfer and Expertise Localization via NURTURE

One of the main goals of the NURTURE project is to contribute to the knowledge and expertise of the partners of the project. Accordingly, in the continuation of the NURTURE’s planned activities for the guests who are on staff exchange from AASTU and UoG, Dr. Shegaw, the NURTURE project handler, initiated a visit to the “Den Magiske Fabrikken” in Tønsberg, Norway.

“Den Magiske Fabrikken” or in English “The Magic Factory” in Tønsberg is a waste management facility leading in recycling food waste and animal manure into climate-friendly biofertilizers, biogas, and green CO2.

NURTURE facilitated this visit for the guests, Dr. Fasika and Dr. Abraham, in order to enable knowledge transfer and expertise localization inspirations and open the door for such implementations in the Ethiopian context.
